Entirely toxic, not worth the effort. If daring, carefully remove strips, steam in alembic for 14 hours, and eat in tiny amounts spread over months with cilantro and garlic.

Thin and fishy. Stuff with a mixture of onion, pepper, and meat of choice. Season with pepper and oven cook.
Withermouth	Lunarium Nexus, Withered Nexus, The Archives, Eclipsed Altar, The Blood Swamps	A fish that has nested in withered waters.	2/5. Lots of work for little reward. Freeze immediately, clean thoroughly, cook well, and drown it with vinegar and salt. Tomato recommended.
Shorehive	Hemozoic Forge, Blackpowder Gardens, The Archives, Eclipsed Altar, The Blood Swamps, The Dark Pyramid	An unidentifiable fish, completely infested with parasites.	1/5. Only for food masochists. Boil, freeze, thaw, pan fry and baste in milk. Best served in soup.
Bogfish	The Blood Swamps, The Dark Pyramid, Pilgrim's Grove	An adorable little fish found in swampy waters.	3/5. Not bad. Remove head, cure in sugary brine, clean, and wood-smoke for three hours. Cut into strips and serve with greens.
Blue Oyster	Lunarium Nexus, Withered Nexus, The Soul Well, Glacious Station, Hemozoic Forge, Blackpowder Gardens, The Archives, Eclipsed Altar, The Blood Swamps, VC-413	A mollusk worshiped by certain cults.	4/5. Nice earthy treat. Shuck and steam, or pan fry in oil. Best served with greens and cheese.

Decent snack. Boil in salted water with spices of choice until shell turns white. Only bother eating the legs.
The Face	All locations except Emperor's Ridge	A fish with a horrifyingly human visage. Said to be an omen of doom.	5/5. Delicious. Remove the head obviously, dredge in flour, pan fry with butter. Lemon and garlic recommended.
Pearly Nautilus	Lunarium Nexus, Withered Nexus, The Soul Well, Glacious Station, Hemozoic Forge, Blackpowder Gardens, Eclipsed Altar, The Blood Swamps, The Dark Pyramid, Pilgrim's Grove, Nephrite Temple	A mollusk with countless tentacles it uses to prey on small fish.	3/5. Nothing interesting. Grill and serve with salad. Tomato and peppers recommended.
Mana Blowfish	Glacious Station, Hemozoic Forge, The Dark Pyramid	A glowing blowfish that feeds off of mana-rich water, like that in Glacious Station's Mana Core generator.	5/5. A delicacy. Sauté the liver in oil with plenty of onion until brown. Serve with melted butter and cream cheese.
Neefar's Mark	Glacious Station, Hemozoic Forge	A cod that has been touched by the Prophet of the Bone Monks.	4/5. Visually unappealing. Same recommendation as regular cod, but with breadcrumbs.
Boreal Eel	Emperor's Ridge, Glacious Station, Hemozoic Forge, Eclipsed Altar, The Moon, The Blood Swamps, The Dark Pyramid, VC-413	A spotted electric eel native to the Boreal Sea.	3/5. All bone. Baste in butter, cook thoroughly in oven. Best served with biscuits.
Flamesnapper	Blackpowder Gardens, The Blood Swamps (Balthazar's Arena), Court of Astarte	A fiery reptile that nests in waters with high concentrations of blackpowder.	1/5. A siege on any stomach. Dice the meat, cook on low, use in soup. Asparagus or spinach recommended.
Unseen Cod	The Archives, Eclipsed Altar, The Blood Swamps, The Dark Pyramid	A cod that underwent the Unseen Ceremony, mostly invisible.	4/5. A small challenge. Same recommendation as regular cod, but with breadcrumbs.
Sangar	The Archives, The Blood Swamps, VC-413, Pilgrim's Grove, Leng	An aggressive gar, its skin covered in flakes of coagulated blood.	5/5. Rich steak-like flavor. Skin, cut and crush, then roll into a ball with garlic, onion and oregano. Cook and serve with gravy.
Imperial Koi	Emperor's Ridge, The Moon	A resilient captivity-bred fish favored by the Emperor long ago.	4/5. Standard fish meat. Sprinkle with lemon juice and pepper, cook in oven and serve with greens.
Seawyrm	Court of Astarte, Pilgrim's Grove, Nephrite Temple, Leng	Of the demons introduced by the Wyrm's pilgrimage, few are as revered as the Seawyrm.	0/5. Poison, poison, poison. If you can find a part of this thing that wont kill you, go crazy.
Embersnout	Court of Astarte, Nephrite Temple, Leng	A stone-like fish descended from Agth demons, still burning hot.	3/5. Useless as meat. Remove the head and liver and grind the rest into a powder to be used as fiery soup seasoning. Expect stomach pain.
Wraithnode	Court of Astarte, Pilgrim's Grove, Aquifer, Nephrite Temple, Leng	A spongy growth found in the waters of the Nameless Realm. Said to be the vomited tonsil stones of Ashmodelz.	2/5. Mostly skeleton. Squeeze it to get a pinkish liquid. Boil and use in soups for a sour meaty taste.
Nail Urchin	Court of Astarte, Nephrite Temple	An urchin with rusty nails for spines. A fetish item for those undergoing the Nail Working.	4/5. Surprisingly good. After cracking open the thing, remove the gonads and serve raw with eggs or pasta with plenty of garlic.
Black Lily	Pilgrim's Grove, Aquifer	A black water lily that grows in the secluded Aquifer. Looking at it instills a profound sadness.	2/5. A depressing herb. Boil the roots and use in soup or salad if you want your meals to be more punishing.
Jade Orb	Nephrite Temple	Strange humming sphere found in the Nephrite Temple's water networks.	0/5. Not food, probably.
